Two Wolves Community Cantina – Broadway
Enter via Grafton Lane located at the corner of Broadway and City Road. (Next to the Lansdowne Hotel). A social enterprise restaurant that welcomes all to experience its rustic food and lively atmosphere. Every sale helps disadvantaged communities.
Grill’d Hamburgers – Broadway Shopping Centre
‘Local Matters’ began in 2011 as a way for Grill’d to give back to the charities that support the local community. With every purchase, you receive a bottle cap to add to the bucket of your choice to go to the charity you prefer. Read more here.
Get a good belly-laugh in

After your beer and hamburger, pop around the corner to Staves Brewery (4-8 Grose St, next to Broadway Shopping Centre) for their live comedy night. Every Friday night, stand-up comedy can be found in the Malt Room at Staves.
Wind down your Friday night by watching a great Netflix movie – The Fundamentals of Caring. A 2016 movie that tells the story of a man who becomes a carer, which transforms his life. You’ll find plenty of good feels and gooey moments in this movie.
Walk in the park and watch the doggies
Interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of cortisol and lower blood pressure. Other studies have found that animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood.
