Not once, but twice in one night a P-plater has been arrested for drink driving.

On Monday, a 24-year-old Campbelltown man driving a Daihatsu was pulled over for a breath test on the Hume Highway at Liverpool.

The driver returned a positive reading and was taken to Liverpool police station where he submitted to a breath analysis that returned a positive reading of 0.152. The man was charged with high-range drink driving and also driving while disqualified. He was given a conditional bail and left the police station.

A few hours later police noticed the exact same Daihatsu travelling along  Campbelltown Rd in Casula. The same man was pulled over and provided another positive reading.

Once again the man was taken to Liverpool Police Station where his second breath analysis returned a mid-range reading of 0.099. This time he was charged with mid-range drink driving, driving while disqualified and breaching bail.

The 24 year old Cambeltown man was refused bail and will appear in Liverpool local court today.
